There is more great news from our distillery. After months of patience and precision, we are proud to share two highlights with you: the official introduction of our Vino de Naranja and an exclusive evening for rum lovers.
Vino de Naranja is now available
Since October 10, our Vino de Naranja has been officially available at our partners in the liquor retail sector. For many of you, a familiar taste; for others, a surprising discovery.
The story behind this bottle is unique: a Single Estate Grain Whisky from the Achterhoek that matured in a 225-liter oak cask previously filled with Vino de Naranja. This characterful Spanish dessert wine, made from white wine and the dried peel of bitter Sevillian oranges, gave the whisky a special dimension.
Tasting notes
Nose: Warm, earthy, and honest, followed by a soft wave of sweet orange peel and toffee.
Taste: Robust ancient grains from the Achterhoek, blending with citrus and toffee. A lively chili spiciness provides a surprising finish.
Finish: Long, warm, and spicy. A finish that invites another sip.

Aging: 3.5 years in an Ex-Vino de Naranja barrel (225 liters)

An exclusive evening for rum lovers
Last year, we enjoyed a wonderful rum tasting together featuring exceptional rums from Eric Koster of Schotman Rum . It literally left us wanting more. That is why we are organizing another special evening this year. This time, Eric Koster and René van Hoven are joining forces.
On Friday, November 6, they will take you on a journey through time. Eric will present his newest rums, while René pours three exceptional, aged rums with accompanying stories. An evening for lovers of quality, history, and surprising taste experiences.
